We opened Nectar Community last year on September 10th! We are FILLED with gratitude for an extraordinary albeit a year filled with unexpected ups and downs.

Join us for an afternoon gratitude hike on the Sulphur Springs Trail at Paris Mountain State Park!
We will use the hike as a walking meditation, to embody gratitude in movement and ritual. (and also to enjoy the splendor of nature ).

You’re welcome to join us anytime after 10am up at Shelter #6 at Paris Mtn. , our hike will start about 2:45pm in the parking lot across from the trailhead.

We have rented the picnic shelter #6 at Paris Mountain State Park, (across from the Sulphur Springs Trail) from 8am-8pm. Sara will be up there all day (starting at 10). You’re welcome to join us any time from 10am through our party!

After our hike we’re having our own picnic dinners, around 5pm. I will have a cooler of non-alcoholic bevs and some celebratory desserts for all (just bring your own snacks or dinner) to celebrate Nectar’s 1st birthday! You don’t have to stay to hang out after the hike, but you’re invited to the party!

If you’d like to stay for Qoya after the party, please register HERE

SCHEDULE:
10am: Sara at picnic shelter #6 (feel free to come hang out and do your own thing)
12pm: Lunch with Sara
2:45pm: Sulphur Springs Trail Hike
5pm: Dinner and Birthday Party at picnic shelter

6pm-8pm: Qoya Class next to shelter #6 ($20 drop in rate)

List of things to bring:

***We are asking that you wear masks if you are within 6 ft of others or are near any of our food/bev stations. You’ll also need a mask if you need to go into the visitors center for any reason. We know masks are not the most comfortable, but we also want to do everything in our power to lessen the possible impact of the virus in our community. Thank you for your help in this!

***If you are feeling ill, have a temp, or are at all under the weather please stay home to get some rest. We love you, and we will see you as soon as you’re feeling better! Thanks for caring about all of us as well.

***Bring a blanket/yoga mats whatever you’d like if you’re joining us for Qoya on or to enjoy the outdoors.

***Bring your lunch/dinner/snacks. I will have lots of water and other bevs all day.

***Bring your sunscreen and bug spray!

***Park admission fee is $6 for adults, and is not included in this event. They prefer to be paid via credit card right now.

***There are outhouses near our site, and I will create a little hand washing station and hand sanitizer for all.

side note….
As much as we love our families, please leave kids and or partners at home, or at least send them on a hike while you have this time for yourself and for our community. Our shelter only allows us to have a limited number of people, and they’re allowing us to dance there without a permit, based on the number of people we are hosting. Thanks for your understanding!
